Oh! I forgot to mention earlier on that I had my hair cut on Sunday. Yayyy!!! Be happy for me, will you?
My head feels so much lighter now than it did on Saturday. I should say that my hair was very stylishly layered.
And you are grinning like an idiot…
By now, if everything goes well, you will notice at the top are three obvious photos of clouds. They were all taken by me.
I love clouds. Unfortunately, I did something quite stupid to my most favourite photo, thus I had to use my 2nd most favourite one. It is in the box on the right.
O.K. I am seriously going to sleep after this. I am sounding too chirpy and sweet for my own good…

Alright. Here is a quick little post before my conscience… Who? Me? Yes, you and stop interrupting me. Fine. As I was saying, before my conscience nagged at me for not writing.
In less than 5 hours I will be in school sitting through Analysis Lecture. In less than 7 hours, I and a handful of others will be sitting in a classroom on the 6th level doing our Harmony Term Test, writing down all that we know about Melodic Decorations and “harmonising” a 4-part harmony question. And then in less than 10 hours, another handful of students, myself included, will be sitting in the same classroom straining our ears for an Aural Test. Crap… 2 tests within a day. May God help us all.
I sat through a Wayang Kulit performance last night in school which lasted for 2 1/2 hours instead of the supposedly 1 1/2 hours. But we should not complain but feel fortunate as the actual Wayang Kulit in Java lasts for 9 whole hours, from 9p.m to 6a.m. Good grief! The performance was interesting, except that it could cut down many extra bits such as long-winded story-telling. No offence intended, especially to professional story-tellers. Otherwise the programme would had ended at, at the most, 9.30p.m. Oh well…
The reason why I am on the internet at 4.22a.m… and even earlier… is that I was supposed to send Juls a list of Melodic Decorations earlier. Unfortunately, I was too tired and fell asleep promptly… !!! So drama! Tut tut tut…! Ah, shut up! As I was saying, I fell asleep soon after I finished doing my Aural homework and tried to wake up at 2++a.m but, as you can see, I did not. That is the reason why I am here at this time.
Right then. I simply can not think of anymore to write about as my brain wants to do one thing now, and that is to sleep. Or maybe do a bit of Mapling…

Thank God It Is Friday

Right. As you all can very clearly, I have taken away the pictures and did some minor adjustments. I will be doing some more adjustments when I have time at home.
So, here is a quickie of major stuff I had done since my last entry.
17 July, Monday: Met Jose with the rest after Commuter Concert at the Indian-Muslim restaurant nearby. Ordered a cup of Teh Tarik and talked crap. Haha!
18 July, Tuesday, 6pm – 10pm: Rehearsal for the concert version of the opera with the principle singers. International cast! Yup. They come from the Phillippines, Singapore and even Down Under. Daryl (unsure of spelling of name), the conductor, made us rehearse the chorus part of Act 1, Scene 8 three times. Had to shout “Merdeka” many times over, causing many of us to feel terribly tired. Horrible, yet good-looking, man…
19 July, Wednesday: Music Platform lasted for only half an hour. Together with the other 2 girls, we noticed that there was a Japanese kid playing in the 2nd violins. Had a “fun” time trying to figure out who he/she was. Turned out to be that boy sitting in the outer first row. Haha! Took the chartered bus with the rest of the Chamber Choir to the UCC at NUS. I felt that the results of all our hard work were satisfactory, naturally after the performance. The house was not that packed but the front/main area was. I do not think you understand what I am saying here. Anyway, preparing for this i.e. concert version of the opera, was quite an experience. The bus ride home from Kent Ridge Terminal took me nearly 1 hour, travelling almost across Singapore. What an interesting ride. Found out where Ikea is excatly located. Hahaha! Yup. Was very tired by the time I got home.
20 July, Thursday: I wonder how I manged to get myself to school after such a tiring day but I did it. I am so good.
21 July, Friday. So, here I am sitting at the computer in the library with Juls. Managed to find some information on some history assignment that I am doing with Enx. I have a feeling that I am coming down with a sorethroat. Thank goodness it is coming after the performance and the next Chamber Choir practice will be after the National Day week. Yippee! Anyway, I have to go back to school for Piano Performance as I will be playing Chopin’s Etude Op. 25 No. 2. All the best to me.

Guess what? What? Is it anything to do with the fact that you did not blog last week? Yes, I mean, NO. Aargh…!!! Heehee… I blogged 2 mondays ago and that is NOT the point. The point is that I just read Enx’s blog and she forgot to add in the credits to her lastest entry. So, I take it that you are on that list of “credits”. Yes, I am together with my trusty Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W5 digital still camera. Dots… Oi! My poor camera had to suffer all of her very blurry photography takes ok… I got quite dizzy just by looking at those takes. Terrible… By the way, for what occasion did she use your camera? Just read her blog. It is quite detailed. A good thing she did not waste her time and energy typing about the “lame-ness” and all the crap that took place between LH and herself on the bus to Jose’s place.
Left: Blurry image/photo/ “piece of art” 1. This looks like me from the back.
Centre: Blurry image/photo/”piece of art” 2. Totally incomprehensible.
Right: Blurry image/photo/”piece of art” 3. A plate of pasta???
There are more. Really? Really. However, as I am off to have a bath before attending Mass, I shall not make you all, my dear and lovely readers, suffer any longer. Adieu!

Week 5
July 3, 2006 · Leave a Comment
Another week of school has already started and I know that I have not been updateing as frequent as previously.
I have come to realise two reasons why I do not blog that often:
Reason 1. I am just too lazy/tired to choronicle my life story .
Reason 2. There are times when I do not want to reopen wounds that are meant to stay closed so as to heal with time.
So, I will do my best to type out short entries as often as possible.
I am now siting in the library, trying to get some work done. I have managed to get some information in preparation for the Ethnomusicology assignment TM wanted us to do since last monday which I had happily forgot for the entire week until yesterday afternoon, before leaving the house to meet the girls at Orchard. So it was a good thing everybody in class did not do a good job with their own work. Thus, he gave us another week to complete it. Haha! I am so fortunate. :p Yup. The girls and I were supposed to meet up at Orchard MRT at 4pm yesterday but the only one who got there before four was Enx. Jwen joined her and waited for the rest of us. I was the third to arrive while Juls came looking for us outside FC (French Connection) UK. So, where was Char? Char? Well, she was having a nice time with old school-mates. That was why she did not window-shopped with us. While Juls and Jwen had a fun time trying clothes at Zara and Mango, Enx and I were walking around and trying on coats (there were some with really lovely design and Enx became the “model” as they were mostly in her size. She looked so cute in those coats/jackets!) Anyway, we had a fun time walking around before heading off to Pasta Mania for dinner. Char came along just as we were finishing our meal. Our transport to the VCH was the MRT, exiting at Raffles Place MRT Station. What were you doing at the VCH? To attend a concert, of course!
I can not recall the pianist full name but it was some thing like Valery …. All I remember is that he gave us FOUR encore pieces as we, the audience, refused to budge from our seats. It was packed, full house. After that, we queued up to get his autograph. So cool! In the line infront of us was KW and her friends.
Well, I better stop here as the labtop I borrowed from the library is showing me the low-battery sign.
Ja!
